When life brings us extraordinary times like these, we at Zoo Atlanta come together stronger than ever with one focus: the more than 1,000 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fishes in our stewardship. The animals’ expert care continued daily during the time when the Zoo was closed, thanks to an amazing team of professionals whose standards of animal well-being never waver. In these unprecedented circumstances, Zoo Atlanta was faced with being closed during what would have ordinarily been our time of peak attendance. Our crucial revenue streams dried up overnight: admissions, public and private events, and Safari Camp. 

Even though the Zoo has been able to reopen, we are at a greatly reduced capacity with educational programs and public and private events cancelled or postponed for additional months. We need you now more than ever to help ensure that we overcome these challenges.
